Rune Aresvik

Rune Aresvik is the founder of Vardetun. After working a number of years in international industry, he completed his MBA at INSEAD in 1990. Since then, he has worked for different consultants (LEK Consulting, PwC, and A.T. Kearney). At A.T. Kearney, he was the Partner responsible for  the communications & high-tech sector in the Benelux .

His work as a consultant was focused on helping companies going through dramatic transformations (technology, markets, regulatory, etc) carry out large scale transformations. These projects involved changing the strategic direction of the companies, but also large-scale transformations / simplifications  of  processes, organizations, and governance models. He also worked in a number of projects related to setting up and developing new businesses.

After leaving A.T. Kearney, he set up Vardetun in order to play an active role in developing new innovative businesses.
